The ACI Jake Adam’s Toxic Acropora florida might at first glance be just another green Acropora, but have you seen how insanely bright this thing is? We received this coral from Jake, which is why we call it the Jake Adams Toxic Florida, especially since it was one of his favorite Acroporas. The intensity of the neon green color of this piece blew him away when he saw it in Kevin Pockell’s Aquarium. It was even brighter than the Green Slimer! Since being under reef lighting, the green color has only gotten brighter (somehow). In medium-light environments, it may fall short of expectation, but in the right conditions—powerful light and flow—this piece can easily be spotted from across the room!
