ACI Blue Raven Blastomussa merletti

Considered the 'small polyp' of the Blastomussa genus. The corallites aka skeleton pipes/tubes of the merletti are 5-7 mm. However the polyps when open can extend up to 1/2" in healthy specimens (similar to a zoanthid) when kept in ideal conditions. Most merletti species in the wild are found in lower light and high turbulent areas. In reef aquariums merletti will thrive in a high nutrient and lower light environment. Regular feeding is recommended.
